Cherry Creek’s Newest Culinary Destination
Service First Permits successfully guided Uchiko Denver‘s high-end sushi restaurant through a complex permitting recovery in Cherry Creek.
When the project was delayed in submittal, we were brought on board mid-stream to oversee all permit submittals and correspondence moving forward. Our immediate priority was navigating the Urban Design review with the Cherry Creek North Design Advisory Board – one of the biggest hurdles in the approval process. By working strategically through the design review requirements, we secured approval and got the project back on track!
Once the Building Permit was issued, our role expanded to managing all modification and deferred permit submittals during construction, ensuring the general contractor faced no delays in the field. We guided Spectrum General Contractors through the inspection and closeout process, clearly outlining which inspections needed to be called and approved before receiving Temporary and final Certificates of Occupancy.
The collaborative effort with an exceptional team resulted in Cherry Creek’s stunning new culinary destination opening on schedule.
Uchiko Denver demonstrates how strategic mid-project permit intervention can rescue timelines and deliver exceptional results.
