This project encompassed a variety of scopes, including Site Development Modification, multiple building permit phases, exterior work, and generator deferred submittals. Throughout the process, we obtained several key permits: Site Development Modification Permit, phased Building Permits, Exterior Work Permit, and Generator Deferred Submittal Permit.
There were several challenges (such as a change in ownership) that required revisions to existing permits, extensive timelines for zoning and wastewater approvals, and missed scopes by various departments during the initial plan review that necessitated expedited re-reviews. Despite these obstacles, our team’s dedication and collaborative efforts ensured the project’s success.
We spoke with Architect-Project Manager Mark Untiedt at MDI who said that “Service First Permits is easy to work with and provides consistent professional assistance project to project” and that “MDI would use and recommend Service First Permits for future work.”
